UFC 195, January 2nd, 2016 is a big event. This fight is for the welterweight title. This will prove to be an interesting match up.

Robbie Lawler, a southpaw, (26-10 MMA, 11-4 UFC) in my opinion started out as a wrestler and a brawler. He was introduced to the sport via Pat Miletich at the age of 16 and became well trained via Miletich Fighting Systems. He has amassed a huge resume as a warrior and it has become quite impressive, as I will detail. But as time has gone on, he has improved his Muay Thai and has grown from a brawler to a seasoned mixed martial artist.

Carlos Condit (30-8 MMA, 7-4 UFC) in my opinion started off like anybody else in the sport of MMA but has shown absolute dedication to the sport via constant self improvement and fitness. Part of winning the fight is the later rounds and cardio counts. To rise to the shot at the title isn’t an easy endeavor and his fight record is not perfect. But it’s that absolute dedication that has taken him to this level and that mat time and that heart of a lion are what has risen him to the occasion.
